Over our combined 50+ years learning multiple languages, weâve learned to embrace our superpowers and AI as a way to fast-track our learning and make it much more enjoyable.

Josh is a self-proclaimed Savvy Speaker and the Geek-In-Chief at techforword, where he has helped over 10,000 students make technology accessible and fun.
A professional conference interpreter with an extensive background in language teaching, he speaks English, Catalan, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, and has also studied Arabic and Polish.

Training AI models is highly energy-intensive, but using them is a lot less energy-intensive.
We also show you how to use AI effectively so you're not "wasting" energy by sending too many prompts or having to fine-tune them constantly with follow-up questions.

No, thatâs the beauty of AI. Most AI tools have an app so you can get in a quick practice session during school pick up, on your commute to work, or while walking the dog.

AI works with just about any language. It does work better with larger languages, but...we have Club members using AI to learn languages as diverse as Welsh, Japanese, and Norwegian, and theyâre pretty pleased with the results.
Each tool is different, and some will work better than others for certain languages.
The good news: AI tools are constantly improving their language models, too.
We'll be exploring lots of different AI tools in the Club, and look forward to hearing how well they work with your languages. đ

You can use AI to learn just about ANY language. All the tutorials and materials in the AI Language Club are in English, but we include examples from tons of different languages (18 and counting!). All videos are also captioned to promote accessibility.

We cover all levels in AI Language Club, from basic techniques (like learning the alphabet and simple vocabulary) to more advanced approaches (extracting terms from texts, learning collocations, summarizing long documents, etc.) that are ideal for advanced language learners or language professionals.
You can use our searchable database to filter tips and find ones for your level.
Please note that weâll be focusing on language learning in the Club. If youâre interested in using AI for translation or interpreting, Joshâs Automatic Glossaries with Artificial Intelligence course or insiders program (which includes an entire track on AI and speech recognition) might be a better match.
