AI works with just about any language. It does work better with larger languages, but...Kerstin is using it to learn Welsh, which has under a million speakers, and is pretty pleased with the results.

Each tool is different, and some will work better than others for certain languages.

You can use AI to learn just about ANY language. All the tutorials and materials in the AI Language Club are in English, but we include examples from tons of different languages. All videos are also captioned to promote accessibility.

Yes, we'll be opening a private Facebook group for all members to share their experiments, progress, and questions. The community is the place meet other members, see what they're doing, exchange notes, and ask questions.

Of course not! AI can never dream, think, or talk exactly like you, but it will take on all the boring, repetitive, or work-intensive tasks and help you create fun materials for language learning.

Josh is a EU- and UN-accredited interpreter working with Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Catalan and English. After picking up degrees in linguistics, language teaching and interpreting, Josh worked as a translator and conference interpreter for 15 years. As Geek-In-Chief at techforword, Josh brings together his love of languages and passion for tech, sharing tips about translation, interpreting, technology and innovation.

The founder of Fluent Language, Kerstin is a native German speaker and host of the award-winning Fluent Show podcast. She has studied English, French, Italian, Latin, Russian, Spanish, and Welsh, and is currently trying her hand at Mandarin Chinese. People always seem surprised by her near-native English, even though she started learning her first language at the age of 10. It's possible. You're never too old.

Most of the tools we’ll cover in the Club are free or offer free tiers or trials.

We’ll be covering all levels in AI Language Club, from basic techniques (like learning the alphabet and basic vocabulary) to more advanced approaches (extracting terms from texts, learning collocations, summarizing long documents, etc.) that are ideal for advanced language learners or language professionals.
